After leaving Arafah again for Makkah on the night of the 10th of Dhu l-Hijjah, one stays overnight within the confines of a place called Muzdalifa, which is adjacent to Mina. In Muzdalifa, the Maghrib and Ishaa prayers are prayed together with shortening of the Ishaa prayer (as when traveling). One stays in Muzdalifa until the sky turns "yellow" on the morning of the 10th of Dhu l-Hijjah just before the sun rises, before going to Mina and the time of throwing the stones at Jamratu-l 'Aqabah has arrived. Between the Fajr prayer and the "yellowing" of the sky before sunrise, one looks in the direction of the Qiblah (direction of prayer) on the border between Musdalifah and Mina and says supplications.
Note: Women, children and weak people and those who take care of their affairs are allowed to leave Muzdalifa already after the middle of the night to go to Minaa.
