After leaving Musdalifah on the morning of the 10th of Dhu l-Hijjah for Minaa, one goes to the Jamratu l Aqaba, which is the outermost boundary of Mina in the direction of Makka, in order to throw seven pebbles, about the size of chickpeas, which one has previously collected, at it. Jamratu-l Aqaba is thus the closest place for throwing stones to Makka and the third of the three Jamarat towards Makka. Only the Jamrat Al-Aqaba is thrown seven stones on this day. It is not necessary to hit the pillar/wall. It is enough if the stones reach the basin around it. It is recommended to throw the Jamratu-l Aqabah on the 10th of Dhu l-Hijjah between sunrise and the time for the Duhur prayer, from the side on which Makka then lies to the left. When throwing each stone at the Jamaraat, it is recommended to say the following: "Allahu akbar" (Allah is greatest).
Note: Women, children and weak people can be represented when throwing the stones and thus do not need to go to the Jamaraat themselves if they fear serious problems or even harm.
