Al-Jinn Mosque

Ibn Masoud -Allah's pleasure be upon him- said: We were with the Messenger of God one night and lost him, so we searched for him in the mountains and valleys. So we said: He was murdered or kidnapped by the jinn, he said: we experienced the worst night that a people can experience. The next morning, we saw the Prophet ﷺ coming from Hira. We asked and said: O Messenger of God, we lost you and looked for you, but we did not find you, so we had the worst night people can ever have. He said: the jinn came, so I went with them and read the Quran to them. He said: He set out with us and showed us their traces and the traces of their fire^[1]. In this place the Jinn Mosque was built and it is said that it was built in the place where the Prophet ﷺ Ibn Masoud showed the place. Al-Jinn Mosque is located in Mecca Al-Mukarramah in Al-Mualla. In 1421 hijri, the mosque was renovated in a modern architectural style with an area of about 500 square meters and a capacity of about 350 worshippers. It consists of a prayer room for men and for women on the upper floor with an area of about 130 square meters.
