On the 11th, 12th and 13th day of Dhu l-Hijjah starting from the beginning of the time of the Duhur prayer (noon prayer). Seven small stones about the size of chickpeas that have been collected beforehand, are thrown at each of the three Jamarat. Beginning with the Jamratu-l Sughraa (which is in the direction of Mina), then throwing the middle one of the Jamaraat (the Jamratu-l Wustaa), and ending with the Jamratu l'Aqaba. For the one who leaves Minaa already on the 12th of Dhu l-Hijjah, the throwing on the 13th of Dhu l-Hijjah is omitted.

Note: Women, children and weak people can be represented while throwing the stones. Thus they do not need to go to the Jamaraat themselves if they fear serious problems or even harm.
